Well I've been out of touch with DA for a wee while now. Well actually for quite a while. I could site all the usual moving house, moving job rubbish but as I'm not one for excuses and hardly one for apologies I'll just say nice to see you all again.
I've had a few e-mails regarding the Secret Buddies Gift Exchange so I've decided to run it again this year. I do hope there is as much interest as there was last year. I've extended the deadline for getting names to me this year. I'm sure if anyone misses the shipping deadlines for DA they can send their pressies in the New Year. Its not when you get it, its the thought that counts
I can't believe how this year has flown by. It seems like only yesterday I was updating my profile. I had a good giggle at my reading:/listening to: references on my profile. Where was my head then I ask myself... errr... pretty much where it is now. Funny thing is its more of the same bands that have new albums and I'm still waiting on R.Jordan's wife to release that long awaited final to wheel of time.
All in all not much has really changed. Hubby and I are settled into our new house and finally getting our lives in some sort of order
I found an awesome recipe for chocolate chunk cookies (thanks to my mom-in-law). A little tweaking for my cookie liking and they are just jaw droppingly delightful. With nearly 1kg of chocolate in them they had better be.
Well as always, Christmas seems to come earlier every year and already the shops are starting to unpack their Christmas goodies. I'm standing in the store going HANG ON A SECOND!!! Where's all the Halloween stuff. Oh right! Wait! its on the second shelf at the back of the store. Is it just me or is Christmas more a money making effort every year? This year I'm boycotting the Christmas card idea and working on a way to say Happy Cricklemouse using Origami Fireworks. I've had my first go at making one today and I'm impressed with myself (it doesn't take much) but I need to refine it.
Well after a gorgeous double cheese pizza for lunch I'm off to put my feet up and enjoy the rest of my lazy Saturday afternoon/evening with my cats.
Cheers all

"From the heart and with passion." She replied, watching the slow ripples of tears touch those around her. She closed her eyes to the nevermore...
Hmmmm. I must finish that sometime
